Among the wonderful places we have in Cusco we have an incredible place passing the 5050 meters (16569 feet) above sea level, a mountain with the colors of the rainbow with beautiful landscapes where we will find alpacas and flames throughout the tour.
Itinerary
01Cusco – Cusipata – Rainbow Mountain
- We will leave Cusco around 4:00 am to 4:30 am depending on the location of the hotel, passing through Urcos, Cusipata (1:30 hrs approx.) Where we will enjoy a nutritious breakfast which will last approximately 40 minutes.
- PHULAWASIPATA: After a brief talk, we will continue our journey in our mobility to the starting point of the hike, the community of Phulawasipata, at 4633 m a.s.l. (approx. 9:00 a.m.). We will begin our walk at the foot of the Ausangate, with an ascent of 1:30 h and almost 3.5 km.
- Approximately until we reach the highest point where we can appreciate the Rainbow Mountain, during this tour we will have the opportunity to see the different varieties of South American camelids as well as the flora of the place, arriving at the Rainbow Mountain we will have time to take photographs of this enigmatic place approximately 40 minutes.
- Then we will continue our 1:00 hour descent hike to the point where we start our hike where our mobility awaits us to head towards the restaurant in Cusipata where our delicious lunch awaits us, we will have 1 hour to enjoy and relax.
- Finally we will return to Cusco making our last stop near the main square located in the city center to facilitate the return to their respective accommodations.
